Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning comes from football royalty. He is Archie Manning's grandson, and his uncles are two-time Super Bowl champions Peyton and Eli Manning. Hence, Arch is a sponsor's dream thanks to his name and potential on the Gridiron.

Trading card company Panini America sponsors Arch Manning. Panini America is a mainstream collegiate sports trading cards company responsible for some of the biggest trades in American sports history. Manning and Panini America started their partnership in July 2023 by auctioning off a unique and signed card showcasing Arch's player likeness on the Texas Longhorns.

According to Fox Sports, the auction raised over $102,500, with the proceeds donated to a Central Texas nonprofit. It's expected that the card will gain value over time as Arch builds a name for himself at the collegiate level and eventually in the NFL.

A look at Arch Manning's NIL deals

Contrary to speculation, Arch Manning does not have a bucket load of NIL deals. Instead, Arch's father, Cooper Manning, has empathetically stated that his son's sole NIL deal is the one that he inked with Panini America.

Cooper Manning said:

"All this NIL stuff is BS. People just make up numbers. Don’t believe what you read.”

Hence, rumors of Arch earning more money as a college freshman than Brock Purdy could not be further from the truth.

Will Arch Manning be a first-overall pick in the NFL Draft?

Hall of Famer Peyton Manning went first overall in 1998, New York Giants icon Eli Manning went first overall in 2004, and Archie Manning went second overall in 1971. The brothers went on to enjoy remarkable NFL careers, winning two Super Bowl games each and breaking countless records along the way. Archie made two Pro Bowl appearances in a decent pro career.

Despite the family's rich history, it's still too early to predict when Arch will go off the board in the NFL Draft. The Texas Longhorns redshirt freshman is still some time away from the draft, as the earliest he can go off the board is in 2026.

Furthermore, Manning will be more focused on getting more playing time with Texas. He is a skilled passer and will one day get his chance to make the Longhorns' offense his own.
