The No. 15 Oklahoma Sooners host the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers in the first conference game for both teams. Oklahoma faces a tall task against a top-six team for the first game in the SEC. The game in Norman, Oklahoma, is probably the most-anticipated encounter in Week 4 of college football.
Both teams have a record of 3-0, as the high rankings in the AP poll would suggest. The Sooners are coming off of a 34-19 victory over the Tulane Green Wave in Week 3. Quarterback Jackson Arnold threw for 169 yards, with one touchdown and an interception last week. He also ran for 97 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns.
The Volunteers shut out Kent State, 71-0. Nico Iamaleava threw for 173 yards and had one touchdown pass. However, it was running back DeSean Bishop who stole the show, with 120 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The game between the Sooners and Vols will air on ABC, with Chris Fowler providing the play-by-play commentary, Kirk Herbstreit as the color commentator, and Holly Rowe as the sideline reporter.
