The USC vs. Nebraska game will be hosted at LA Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. Lincoln Riley and his team are not enjoying the success they expected from their Big Ten debut campaign. They have just one win in the last five games, putting up a 4-5 (2-5 Big Ten conference) campaign.

On the other hand, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are looking to bounce back from a three-game losing streak in Week 12. They are just one win shy from qualifying for the Bowl games this season (5-4, 2-5 Big Ten conference).

Who are the USC vs. Nebraska starting quarterbacks?

USC starting QB

So far this season, Miller Moss has been the starting quarterback for Lincoln Riley's team. However, after their dismal performance in the last few games, the team is not putting their faith in Jayden Maiava as the QB1 in Week 12 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Jayden Maiava began his collegiate career with the UNVL Rebels as a part of the 2022 recruiting class. After redshirting his freshman campaign, Maiava started as the backup to Doug Brumfield last season. But after Brumfield suffered a season-ending injury, Maiva was named as the team's starter.

Jayden Maiava led the Rebels to a 9-5 overall campaign. He recorded a total of 3,085 passing yards and 17 TD passes before transferring to USC this offseason. It will be interesting to see if this change in the QB position pays off for Riley in Week 12.

Nebraska starting QB

Dylan Raiola is expected to continue his duties as the starting quarterback of the Cornhuskers. However, Raiola was sidelined during their loss to UCLA due to a back injury. And according to head coach Matt Rhule, he is still questionable for their Week 12 showdown against USC.

On Tuesday, Rhule stated that they hope Dylan Raiola can lead the team in Week 12. However, they are also preparing backup Heinrich Haarberg as an alternative.

Raiola joined the Cornhuskers as a part of the 2024 recruiting class and took over the QB1 role as a true freshman. He has 1,921 passing yards and 10 TD passes for the team. The Cornhuskers need just one more win to be eligible for the Bowl games this season.
