Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes (4-1) have enjoyed a strong start to the 2024 season. Ahead of Week 6, the Buffaloes have already equaled the same number of wins they recorded in the whole of last season, and fans want to know when Sanders' team will be in action next.
Who will Colorado play next?
Colorado will not play this week since it has an off in Week 6. However, Sanders' team will resume action in Week 7, when the program hosts the Kansas State Wildcats at Folsom Field on Oct. 12.
The Buffs are on a three-game win streak but will face a stern test against No. 20 Kansas State (4-1). The Wildcats began their season with a 41-6 win over UT Martin before recording wins over Tulane 34-27 in Week 2 and Arizona 31-7 in Week 3.
Kansas State lost its first game in Week 4, a 38-9 loss against No. 17 BYU, but the Wildcats bounced back well to get a 42-20 victory over Oklahoma State in Week 5.
Meanwhile, Colorado opened its season with a 31-26 win over ND State. However, the Buffs lost 28-10 to Nebraska in Week 2. In Week 3, Colorado made a winning comeback by taking down in-state rivals Colorado State 28-9. The Buffs then beat Baylor 38-31 in overtime in Week 4 before getting the better of UCF 48-21 in Week 5 on Saturday.
Although Colorado is the underdog against Kansas State, this will be a great platform for Sanders' team to get a win over one of the top programs in the country.
