Streaming apps like ESPN Plus offer subscribers the chance to watch each of this season's college football matchups with their service. However, some people have noticed recently that their favorite team's game will not be available on it. Let's take a closer look at why college football fans have this issue.
Potential reasons why I can't watch college football on ESPN Plus?
On a different streaming service
While ESPN Plus is one of the better streaming services in terms of getting availability to college football games, that does not mean every single one is going to be available. All the games on the Disney properties (ABC, ESPN, etc.) will be available on the streaming service as well as other networks such as the SEC Network.
However, that does not mean that every college football game is going to be on ESPN Plus. Competing services such as the Fox Sports App or Peacock will also have some games on their services and not on ESPN Plus. ESPN has added a feature on their website that allows people to see which linear television channel and streaming service the game they want to watch is on.
Might not be the correct time for the stream
One of the more simplistic issues that people may experience is just thinking that the game they want to watch is going to be on but it is scheduled at a different time. Some games change their kickoff time for different reasons and a game that you want to watch on ESPN Plus is not showing up.
Another reason could be that the start of the game is delayed for whatever reason. Whether it is a weather delay or maybe the home team is honoring someone ahead of the game, there are a few different reasons for the start time being changed. The ceremonies typically are not televised which means a game may not start immediately as originally scheduled.
