Will Howard is an American college football quarterback who has recently transferred to Ohio State Buckeyes for his final season of eligibility. Howard began his football career at Downingtown West High School, where he was ranked the 26th best dual-threat quarterback in the nation. He also led his school to its first district title in his senior year in 2019. Howard concluded his prep career while throwing for 5,308 yards and 48 touchdowns. The three-star athlete from Downingtown started his collegiate football journey with Kansas State Wildcats but also received offers from top programs like Cincinnati, Harvard, Maryland, Minnesota, Duke, North Carolina, Kent State, Yale and Penn State.

In his 2020 freshman season, Howard saw action in only nine games and threw for 1,178 yards and eight touchdowns on the year. The following year as a sophomore, Howard saw lesser playing time, as he saw action in six games and concluded the year throwing for 332 yards and a touchdown. His second season as a full-time starter came in 2023, where he started all 12 games and threw for 2,643 yards and a program-record 24 touchdowns. After four seasons with the Wildcats, Howard decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal in 2023 and commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes for his final year of collegiate football.
