William Wyatt Rogers III is a college football quarterback, playing for the Washington Huskies, as of 2024. Rogers attended Brandon High School where his football career took off under his father, who served as the offensive coordinator. Throughout his high school career, he amassed 9,093 passing yards and threw 79 touchdown passes. During his senior year, he completed 246 of 371 passes for 3,572 yards and 38 touchdowns, while throwing three interceptions. This performance earned him recognition as one of the top quarterbacks in Mississippi.

Will Rogers was recognized as a three-star prospect by major recruiting services such as Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports. He was ranked among the Top-25 prospects in Mississippi, with specific rankings of No. 21 by ESPN, No. 8 by Rivals, and No. 19 by 247Sports. Additionally, he was listed as a Top-25 pro-style quarterback by Rivals and 247Sports. In 2019, he earned a spot on the Clarion Ledger’s Dandy Dozen, an honor given to the top high school football players in the state. In his junior year, Rogers led all quarterbacks in the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 6A with 3,009 passing yards and 23 touchdown passes. His sophomore year also saw him log 2,476 passing yards and 18 touchdowns.

Rogers joined the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 2020. Over his four-year career, he played in 43 games, starting in 40, and achieved a career record of 23 wins and 17 losses. He completed 1,301 passes out of 1,876 attempts for a total of 12,315 yards and 94 touchdowns, averaging 286.4 yards per game. He set numerous Mississippi State records, including career passing yards, completions, and touchdowns. In 2023, he entered the transfer portal and transferred to the Washington Huskies in 2024. He made his debut for the Washington Huskies on August 31, 2024, against Weber St. and went for one touchdown and no interception. Throughout the 2024 season, he played in 11 games for Washington.
