Wisconsin vs. Alabama game summary

Wisconsin took an early 3-0 lead when Nathaniel Vakos drilled a 53-yard field goal. However, the hosts were dealt a blow when Van Dyke left the game with a knee injury and was replaced by Braedyn Locke in the first quarter.

The Badgers' defense stood strong for most parts but Milore combined with freshman wideout Ryan Williams for a 31-yard touchdown with less than 30 seconds in the first quarter to give Alabama a 7-3 lead.

Milroe extended Alabama's lead in the second quarter when he rushed for a 3-yard touchdown. The Tide quarterback then struck Germie Bernard for a 26-yard touchdown and Nicholson converted both extra points to put the Tide up 21-3 at halftime.

Alabama also scored on the opening possession of the third quarter with a 5-play, 75-yard touchdown. Jamariol Miller rushed for a 34-yard score to extend the Tide's lead to 28-3.

The Badgers finally improved their score in the third quarter when Will Pauling caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Locke. However, The Tide restored their 25-point lead when Milroe rushed for a 10-yard touchdown with less than two minutes remaining in the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the Tide picked up from where they left off and Milroe threw his third touchdown when he connected with Josh Cuevas for a 37-yard pass. The Tide eventually made light work of Wisconsin, recording a convincing 42-10 win at the final whistle.
