Quarterback Brayden Locke threw a key pick-six that changed the momentum and from there, Penn State cruised to a win. Badgers coach Luke Fickell believes guys were tired on both sides of the ball in the second half, so he plans on playing more players to keep everyone fresh.

“In some ways maybe at the end of the game we got worn down a little bit defensively and that in the long run cost us,” Fickell said, via Milwaukee Journal. “So that is one of those things we’ve talked about. We have to play more guys."

“We have to make sure we’re playing 24 guys of some sort and I mean that in some version of a significant role and not just one play here on third down in dime. (We need) the ability to make sure that we’re going to put ourselves in position come the fourth quarter to be able to execute and do the things because guys are fresh enough mentally and physical.”

The Badgers have been led by running back Tawee Walker who has rushed for 624 yards and 10 touchdowns. Vinny Anthony II leads the team with 382 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, Preston Zuchman leads the way with two interceptions, while the team just has three interceptions and 13 sacks.

Iowa, meanwhile, will start Brendan Sullivan at quarterback as Cade McNamara is out with a concussion.

"Feel badly for him because it's been a tough stretch really for about two and a half years," coach Kirk Ferentz said, via ESPN. "I've said it before and you guys have heard me say it a million times -- the worst thing about coaching is dealing with injuries. It's something nobody wants to deal with, and certainly he's had his tough share of bad luck here. I feel bad about that, but hopefully we'll get him back soon, get him back on his feet."

The Hawkeyes' offense has surprisingly been a bright spot for Iowa this season, while its defense has struggled at times.

Wisconsin should be able to go on the road and pick up an upset win to become bowl-eligible. Locke has shown flashes of strong play. The Badgers defense also played well against Penn State until the turnovers, so Wisconsin should be able to limit the lackluster passing game.

Prediction: Wisconsin 17, Iowa 13.
