Zachariah Branch is an American college football wide receiver who is currently in his sophomore year with the USC Trojans. Branch played high school football at Bishop Gorman High School where he led the school to the Nevada 5A State Championship as a junior. He was the No.1 recruit in the class of 2023 and was ranked the No.7 overall player by 247Sports. Branch also competed in track and field and won the regional championship in the 100m, 200m, and long jump as a sophomore underscoring his athleticism. In his final seasons at Bishop Gorman, Branch made 93 receptions for 1,847 yards and 25 touchdowns.
The Las Vegas, Nevada native signed with USC Trojans over offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M among others. Branch had an explosive freshman season, where he amassed 31 catches for 320 yards and two touchdowns, also showcasing his rushing skills with 70 yards on nine carries. For his outstanding freshman campaign for the Trojans, Branch was recognized as the First-Team All-American. He was also given the Jet Award which is presented to the Nation’s top return specialist.
