Ravi Bopara's England career is likely over, but for eight years he was a regular member of the national team's limited overs set-up and also played a handful of Test matches, although with limited success.

Bopara's ability to bat at any position in the batting order made him a key member of the limited-overs sides but his record has not done justice to the talent that he possesses as a batsman.

Bopara came into prominence due to his exploits for Essex and still plays domestic cricket for the county. In 196 first-class games, he has scored 14 centuries and 55 half-centuries at an average of 51.40.
