#1 Josh Hazlewood (2014-15)

En
Hazlewood playing only longest format of the game to manage his workload.

Hazlewood was bought by the Mumbai Indians back in 2014 for just Rs. 50 Lakh. He was with Mumbai set-up in his first season of IPL without being played a single game. Because of the presence of Stalwart Malinga who was then overseas star for Mumbai set-up Josh's time was quite difficult to get a game to play.

In 2015 Mumbai franchise considered Hazlewood as a prime bowling option for that they retained him before the auction. But he had other ideas, he chose Country over Cash-rich league.

He pulled himself out of IPL to keep his mind and body fit for the Ashes supposed to play in the second half of 2015. He went unsold in 2018 IPL auction because of his heavy his base price - 2Cr.
