He joined MI camp with an injury that held while his stint with England's T20 Blast

The Australian T20 specialist signed by Mumbai Indians back in 2015, it was his 5th franchise in the cash-rich league. In 2015, Mumbai was in desperate to have one blistering opener in their side.

As a result, they went for a bidding war with Delhi Daredevils which they won by paying Rs.3.2Cr for the blistering right-handed opener.

He played only three matches for Mumbai Indians before suffering from the hamstring injury which forced himself to rule out from the 2015 season. In that three matches, he scored just 23 runs at 11.50 - never justified his price tag.

His injury drove himself out of the session and Mumbai was forced to replace another Australian Benn Hilfenhaus for the rest of the league.

The next season, Finch was also dropped under the hammer by the Mumbai Indians. He was bought by Gujarat and KXIP in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
