#3 Axar Patel (2013)
Gujarat born all-rounder was named as BCCI's under-19 cricketer of the year in 2013. His ability to make quick runs and his unusual bouncers from his tweaks caught the eyes of the Mumbai based IPL side in 2013.
In the same year, he was called up, to the pre-selection camp of Mumbai Indians franchise. Also was picked up in the auction for his base price by the Men in blue as a left-arm spinner.
He was not able to showcase his talent as there were the veterans Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha in the Mumbai Indians side. He was often sent as a substitute fielder during his tenure with Mumbai Indians.
Finally, he has had to leave Mumbai in 2014 without being played a game for that side. Kings XI welcomed him with a red-carpet in 2014 also retained him in the mega-auction held earlier this year for a hefty amount of Rs. 12 Crore.
He has played 68 games in IPL and has scored 686 runs and scalped 68 wickets in his name.
