#8 RAVICHANDRAN ASHWIN

The current leader of the Indian spin-attack, and slowly gaining the status of a reliable all-rounder, Ravichandran Ashwin boasts of a BCCI ‘A’ contract, being a regular member of the Indian team in all three formats.

He was signed up by Rising Pune Supergiants, one of the two new IPL franchises this season. He started off poorly, but finished with a couple of good matches to take his wickets-tally in this IPL to 10 from 14 matches.

Having made his Test debut in 2011, Ashwin is the fastest Indian bowler to take 50,100 and 150 Test wickets.
