As a format, T20Is are for the batsmen but that doesn't mean that bowlers haven't been successful. What it does mean is that bowlers finishing with figures that would look out of place in an ODI is becoming a common occurrence. Even some of the finest bowlers like Dale Steyn, Mitchell Starc, Lasith Malinga and Sunil Narine have conceded 50 runs or more in a match.

In total, there have been 10 bowlers who have conceded 60 or more in a T20I match. The record for most runs conceded by a bowler in an innings is currently held by Ireland's Barry McCarthy. The fast bowler conceded 69 runs without picking up a wicket in the T20I against Afghanistan at Greater Noida on 12 March 2017.
