Most consecutive losses
There have been dark spells in Zimbabwe cricket history. From losing players, they have endured more than most countries. But, arguably one of their darkest spells came during 2010 and 2013. From 3 May 2010 to 3 March 2013, Zimbabwe lost 16 consecutive T20Is, which is the world record for most consecutive T20I losses.
The streak began with a 14-run defeat to Sri Lanka in Providence and lasted nearly three years when their final defeat of that streak came against West Indies at North Sound. During that time, they had lost to Sri Lanka, New Zealand, India, South Africa, Pakistan and West Indies.
While their 16-game losing streak is the worst in T20Is, it is not the worst in T20s, where this is only good enough for fourth spot. With the record, a staggering 27 held by Quetta Bears who lost 27 straight matches from 2005 to 2012.
