Worst strike rate in an innings
In a format where scoring quick is the name of the game, there have been some who haven't quite got the memo. In the interest of fairness, only innings where the batsman has played at least 10 balls has been considered. While Canada's Sandeep Jyoti and Hong Kong's Kinchit Shah finished with a strike rate of 0 courtesy of their 12-ball and 10-ball stay at the crease in a T20I that resulted in them scoring no runs, only batsmen who have scored at least a run have been taken into account.
The unfortunate owner of this record is New Zealand opener Rob Nicol. In the 2012 T20I at Kandy, Nicol managed just 1 run in 12 balls before being put of his misery by Shaminda Eranga. His strike rate of 8.33 is the worst amongst all batsmen have scored a run and played at least 10 balls in a T20I. His knock didn't result in a defeat, as the match was abandoned due to rain. He is also one of only four players to have a strike rate of under 10 in a T20I.
