Aaron Finch was purchased in the auction by Delhi Daredevils in 2011. His tenure at DD was disappointing, to say the least. He wasn’t given much of an opportunity to shine with the bat.

In 2011, he played only 6 games and scored a total of 47 runs at an average of 7.83. Maybe he would’ve done better had he been given a couple more matches. His poor performances and lack of confidence cost his team dearly.
His second season was pretty much the same. This time he played fewer games. He was only given 2 games and scored a total of 55 runs with an average of 27.50. He had already done better than his previous season, but still, Delhi decided that he only deserved two matches. Maybe they didn’t need him because since they were having a terrific season.
This was his last year for Delhi. He then went on to play for Pune Warriors India in 2013 where he had one of his best seasons to date. He scored 456 runs in 14 games.

Sunil is a pro wrestling journalist, covering AEW and WWE news stories at Sportskeeda. He holds an MBA degree in Marketing, and has nearly 7 years of experience. A wrestling aficionado since childhood, Sunil used to imitate his favorite wrestlers as a young kid, and started writing professionally about the sport via Sportskeeda’s revenue-sharing opportunity.
Sunil admires former world champions AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, and Kenny Omega for their ability to consistently deliver great matches as well as entertain crowds with their mic skills.
If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
Always focused on making his work accurate and reliable, Sunil thoroughly checks his facts before writing his articles. When not writing for pro wrestling, he spends his time watching cricket.
