However, post that, with the emergence of venues like the Sector-16 stadium in Chandigarh as well as the PCA Stadium in Mohali, this ground has not had the opportunity to host any more international matches.
Manoj Prabhakar took the only five-wicket haul at this ground, picking 5 for 33 against New Zealand in 1995.
