One of those defeats for India came at the hands of Kenya, who put up an inspired performance in 1998 to win by 69 runs.
However, the ground will always go down in history books as the place where Sachin Tendulkar made the first-ever double hundred in men's 50-overs cricket against South Africa in 2010.
