Ankit Rajpoot has been very good in this season of the IPL. In KXIP’s last game, he took a fifer as he rattled Sunrisers’ Hyderabad batsmen. With Mohit Sharma struggling for form, KXIP found a reliable option in Ankit Rajpoot

In this game, Rajpoot was below-par as the 24-year-old pacer went for 31 runs in his 3 overs. He bowled the second over of the innings and started well as he bowled 4 dot batts.

However, he was hit for a four and a six in his next over and that over may have given MI the impetus to their innings. That was a 12-run over and when he came back for his 3rd, that over was identical to his second as well (yielding 12 with one four and one six).

Overall, it was a disappointing outing for the Uttar Pradesh pacer as he failed to take wickets and contain runs.
