Prithvi Shaw, who has already been in the headlines for his consistent batting, led his team beautifully and won India the Under-19 World Cup for a record fourth time. Apart from his brilliant leadership, he scored consistently in the tournament.

Shaw scored 261 runs in 6 matches at an average of 65.25, with two-half centuries. He gave the team a good start every time he came on to bat. With this World Cup win, Shaw has made his claim for a place in the Indian team much stronger.

Shaw is also part of the Delhi Daredevils team and would use the IPL platform to showcase his batting prowess.
