#1 Yashasvi Jaiswal
The easiest pick from this list, Yashasvi Jaiswal already comes across as a nailed-on future star. Jaiswal's rags to riches story is something that almost all Indian cricket fans would have to know of by now with his performances getting better day by day.
He has become such a well-known face now that Rajasthan Royals wouldn't have hesitated while parting away with a huge sum of ₹2.4 crore during the recent IPL Auction.
The southpaw's rise to fame began after he started scoring in a prolific manner for the Indian U-19 side in various matches. After impressing in the tour of Sri Lanka in July-August last year, Jaiswal finished the 2018 U-19 Asia Cup as the leading scorer with 318 runs.
Since then, the 18-year-old went on to make his senior cricket debut for Mumbai in the early part of 2019. However, Jaiswal actually announced himself on the domestic scene only in the second half of the year when he smashed a double hundred against a Jharkhand bowling attack that included the likes of Varun Aaron, Rahul Shukla, Shahbaz Nadeem and Anukul Roy. This stunning knock also made him the youngest ever to score a double century.
While Jaiswal's form in the lead-up to the tournament has been slightly patchy, he showed signs of his best in the warm-up match against Afghanistan U-19. Moreover, Jaiswal has also shown how handy he can be with his leg-spin bowling by picking up quite a few wickets in the bilateral series against South Africa a few weeks ago.
Don't be surprised if this prodigy goes onto win the 'Player of the Tournament' award while also helping his team to lift the U-19 World Cup in a little over three weeks time.
