#3 Divyansh Joshi
While Garg and Jaiswal are quite familiar to the Indian fans because of their exploits at the first-class level, Joshi is someone whom not many people would have heard about. The 18-year old will become the first player from Mizoram to play in the U19 World Cup for India.
While Joshi learned all his cricket in Delhi and featured for Uttar Pradesh at the U14 and U16 level, he had to turn to North-East India to play U19 cricket because he couldn’t find a place in the U19 team of UP.
The Mizoram selectors saw something in him and signed him as a “professional” player and he repaid their faith with some wonderful performances in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
Joshi’s performances caught the eyes of the Indian selectors and he made it to the U19 World Cup squad of India. The all-rounder has been coached by Tarak Sinha who has also been the coach of Virat Kohli.
