One of AB de Villiers' finest innings came against West Indies in the 2015 World Cup held in Australia. Against a weak West Indian bowling attack, AB de Villiers scored a quickfire 150 off just 64 balls. He reached the 100 run mark in just 52 balls and took 12 more balls to add another 50 runs. He returned not out on a score of 162 off 66 balls that included 17 fours and 8 sixes.

Scoring a 150 in ODI cricket is a tough milestone to breach in itself and scoring it off 64 deliveries is just incredible. Only 5 players have been able to reach the 150 run mark in under 100 balls.

AB de Villiers bettered Shane Watson's record by 19 balls and the huge difference shows the difficulty of the record. New Zealander Luke Ronchi reached the 150 run mark in 92 balls and is third on the list.

Reaching the milestone in 64 balls is not everyone's cup of tea and the record is unlikely to be broken for decades.
