It was the 5th match of the ODI series between India and England which was played on 27th January 2013 at HPCA Stadium, Mohali. India already had an unassailable lead of 3-1 coming into this game. So, it was a bit of a dead rubber.

England won the toss and put India to bat first as it was a day game and there was a bit of nip in the air. After dismissing Rohit Sharma who opened the innings with Gautam Gambhir, Tim Bresnan got Virat Kohli out on the very next ball as well.

It was a full delivery outside the off-stump nipping further away which Virat could have easily left for the keeper, but he decided to go for an expansive drive and ended up playing it away from his body. An edge was induced which was safely held at second slip.

India lost the match as the 226 that they posted on the board was chased down by England quite comfortably at the loss of just 3 wickets. Ian Bell was the pick of the batsmen for the visitors as he remained not out on 113.
