#1 Darren Sammy
It was the 3rd game of the ODI series between West Indies and India which took place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua on 11th June 2011. West Indies batted first and posted 225 on the board in reply of which India lost the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan early and Virat walked in at his usual position of no. 3.
But, before he could get into his groove and put India’s chase on course, Kohli was trapped in front of the wickets off the very first ball that he faced from the West Indies captain Darren Sammy.
It was a length ball and Virat didn’t commit fully to it. The sharp inward movement of the ball caught him in his crease. The umpire ruled him out even though it seemed the ball might have gone on to miss the leg stump.
India ended up winning the match by 3 wickets, thanks to an unbeaten 86 off 91 balls from Rohit Sharma and a cameo from Harbhajan Singh lower down the order.
