#2 Imran Khan - Pakistan

The Indian cricket team had visited Pakistan in 1982-83 to play a 6-match Test series and a 4-match ODI series. Pakistan dominated the visitors in the first two Test matches but the third Test match saw the home side record a 10 wickets win courtesy a magnificent performance from their skipper, Imran Khan.
Khan took 6 wickets in the first innings of the Indian team to restrict Sunil Gavaskar's men to 372 runs. In reply, Pakistan slammed a mammoth score of 652 runs on the board with Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas, Saleem Malik and Imran Khan all scoring hundreds. Abbas was the top-scorer of the innings with 168 runs.
Sunil Gavaskar tried to save the Test match with a fighting century but Imran's 5-wicket haul helped Pakistan bowl the opposition out for 286 runs. Ultimately, the home team chased down the target of 10 runs without losing a single wicket as the captain Imran Khan received the Player of the Match award.
