The Caribbean hard-hitting batsman comes along with a reputation of clobbering attacks at will. He is someone who is equipped with great ability to smash the ball and change the game on its head. Hetmyer did enough justice to his ability with his few match-winning innings against India in the recently concluded ODI series.

He defined a fearless approach to take on the bowlers after settling in with ease. It was remarkable to see a Caribbean player getting his eye in before bringing in the power game to tear apart bowling attacks.

He has done enough to induce interest in his skills with the bat. Though he failed miserably with his chances in the T20I series, he brought his 'A' game to the fore in the ODI series against India. He would definitely be in the franchises' scheme of things ahead of the IPL auctions. It won't be a surprise if teams go in for a bidding war for the southpaw to be included in their squad.
