Nayar has been impressive behind the mic

Mumbai's Abhishek Nayar has been one of the most consistent domestic players in India. He was successful with the Mumbai Indians in the first edition of the IPL and later got selected to the Indian team too. He was not great with the Indian team and did not find success in the later editions of IPL.

He started his stint with the mic in the 2018 edition of IPL and was used regularly by the broadcasters. However, this was cut short as he was appointed as the mentor of KKR midway during the season. He retired from the Mumbai Ranji team and is now leading the debutants Puducherry in the domestic season.

He is still actively part of the game and is also providing his expert competitions in various tournaments across the country.
