#1 Sudeep Tyagi
Sudeep Tyagi was a part of Chennai Super Kings for the inaugural IPL season in 2008, but had to give it a miss due to a stress fracture. However, in the next season, he was right on the money from the start of the competition.
Tyagi had already made his debut for the India A side by then on the back of sensational performances in domestic cricket, but it was his lethal delivery to AB de Villiers which uprooted his stumps in the 2009 season that brought the player international fame. His ability to keep things tight throughout his four overs meant he was a good seaming option for India. His natural ability to swing the ball both ways put him ahead of his other competitors.
Sudeep made his debut against Sri Lanka in India in the infamous ODI that got suspended in Delhi due to a bad pitch. After that he had a forgettable T20I debut against Sri Lanka in December 2009, which turned out to be the only match he played in the format. He went on to play four ODIs for India. He played in the final game of the ODI series against South Africa and was taken to the cleaners by Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers.
Unfortunately, that was the end of the story for him and his lack of pace put him out of favour soon after. He hasn't played for India since February 2010.
