Thakur who made his International debut against Sri Lanka in 2017 has represented India in 11 games. Shardul Thakur has been in exceptional form in the domestic circuit, taking 48 wickets in 10 games in 2013/14 season. He was also part of the Ranji Trophy-winning Mumbai side in 2013. Shardul Thakur is part of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and has been good in the lavish league. In the final of 2015/16 Ranji trophy, Shardul scalped eight wickets and helped Mumbai win their 41st Ranji Trophy.
