Umesh Yadav is one of the best fast bowlers in IPL for quite some time. He is the 8th highest wicket-taker in IPL history and only the second Indian seamer to cross 110 wickets in the tournament.

Umesh Yadav has played 108 games in IPL so far and picked up 111 wickets at an economy rate of 7.86. He was sensational for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2018 IPL campaign.

Though he has played 36 Tests and 71 One Day Internationals for India, he was not able to break into the Indian T20 team. His only T20I game came long back in 2012 when India toured Sri Lanka.

He opened the bowling for India and finished with figures of 3-0-24-1. Jeevan Mendis was his only wicket in T20I cricket. He is back in the Indian team for the T20 series against England and could add to his solitary T20I cap.
