With the seniors leading the way in Australia, India A side is currently touring New Zealand. The tour began with the Test matches with all the 3 matches ending in a draw. The 3-match Test series was followed by the 3 match ODI series. The Indians sealed the series with consecutive victories in the first 2 matches.

The India-A side is being captained by the experienced Manish Pandey who is also the highest run scorer after the first 2 matches with a century to his name. Manish Pandey has been ably supported by Vijay Shankar who isn’t far behind Manish Pandey in the highest run scorers list.
