The former South African opener who led India to the 2011 World Cup is believed to be the favourite to take up the head coach position at RCB. Kirsten had joined the side last year as a batting consultant.
The reports which claim the sacking of Vettori added that the South African is favourite to take up the job. This could be the best move for RCB as Kirsten has good relationship with skipper Kohli and is a proven winner.
