#2. Harbhajan Singh
The Turbanator of Indian cricket, Harbhajan Singh rose to the occasion when he dented the Aussies with a record-breaking 32 wickets in India's home series win in 2001. Singh, whose career began in 1998 but not with great promise, had shown glimpses of his talent to eventually get the backing of his then skipper Sourav Ganguly.
Bhajji, as he is usually called as, was India's reliable spinner along with Anil Kumble at the turn of the millennium.
With a total of 417 Test wickets, Harbhajan finds himself third in the list of leading wicket-takers for India after Kumble and Kapil Dev. His contributions in some of India's inspiring victories at home saw him counted in the same breath as some of his great contemporaries.
However, the off-spinner played his last Test match for India way back in 2015 at Galle against Sri Lanka. It is a well-known fact that the 38-year old is no way near to make a return to India's Test squad. While Ashwin and Jadeja have established themselves as India's frontline spinners in Tests, the domestic circuit is brimming with some exceptional talents to carry India's spin legacy forward in future.
