#2 Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar's injury was a big blow for the Indian team as he was the premier bowler of this team. His bowling style has suited him in English conditions and he had performed brilliantly in the 2014 Test series.
Bhuvneshwar was the star performer of that series not only for his bowling performance but also for his vital batting contribution in the lower order. In five Tests in England, he picked up 19 wickets at an average of 26.63 including two five-wicket hauls. With the bat, he had scored 247 runs with three half-centuries to his name.
Currently, Bhuvneshwar is recovering from his injury and has already hit the gym. He is likely to be available for the selection, and if he gets fully fit, then he would surely feature in the playing XI team.
