K Khaleel Ahmed is probably the only left-arm seamer who has shown glimpses of becoming the next Zaheer Khan. After a successful U-19 campaign this year, Khaleel impressed with good performances in the domestic level. Although he got very few chances in the IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad, he got a chance to play for India very soon in the limited overs.

However considering his inexperience at the highest level, it would be a difficult decision for the management to make regarding his inclusion in the World Cup squad. Khaleel offers variety to the Indian bowling line-up but he can also be a liability when the match goes down to the wire. He is still young and the opposition batsmen will look to target him.

Well, risks are to be taken if India needs to win the trophy next year and this is one risk they would like to take.
