Ravindra Jadeja recently made a comeback to the ODI squad as a replacement to the injured Axar Patel. He impressed big time on his comeback match with a four-wicket haul. He has also been batting well in the Test matches. His acrobatics in the field are well known.

However, being an off-spinner, Jaddu might have a difficult time on the green pitches of England. He relies highly on his accuracy and if he misses it, he might get hit out of the park. He has still not proved himself as a reliable batsman at no. 7 and overseas batting conditions are harder for such a player.

Also, including three spinners in a 15 member squad is a luxury India cannot afford right now. Hence, Hardik has a higher chance of being India's all-rounder at the World Cup.
