#2 Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill

In 2018, Shubman Gill attracted the eyes of everyone in the U-19 World Cup held in New Zealand. He was the second leading run-scorer of the tournament. He scored 372 runs in the five innings he played at an exceptional average of 124 which includes a scintillating hundred against Pakistan. Gill was also won the Man of the Tournament award.

He has been performing really well in the domestic circuit. In the first-class cricket, Shubman Gill has scored four centuries and five half-centuries at averages more than 58.

In the 2018 IPL Auction, he was picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 1.8 crores. The right-handed batsman proved his worth by performing a match-winning knock against Chennai Super Kings in a difficult chase.

So keep an eye on him, because five years later, we might be applauding for him while he destroys international teams.
