#3 Flat Pitches, Small Grounds – Bowlers Nightmares

Its summer in England and the pitches are going to be flat. The 3 T20’s will be played at Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol and a heavy run fest is expected in all the 3 games.
While the Old Trafford Cricket Ground at Manchester is a decent sized ground, the ones at Cardiff and Bristol are small grounds with very small straight boundaries.
Hence, it is very important for the Indian bowlers to hit the right line and a length in the T20’s to avoid getting smashed.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah have played in England and would be aware of the match conditions.
However, the duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav will be playing for the first time in England and it would be interesting to see how they would fare against the English batsmen in their home.
This will be the first time team India will be playing T20 games in Cardiff and Bristol. They have played 1 T20 game in Manchester against England in 2011 in a losing effort.
