#2 Mohit Sharma

The Haryana pacer was a vital cog in the Chennai Super Kings bowling unit before their suspension in 2015. Mohit made his international debut against Zimbabwe on August 1, 2013 and won the man-of-the-match award in his very first game.
Since then, his career has gone downhill and the fast bowler has not been able to hold on to his place in the Indian side. In 26 games, Mohit has picked 31 wickets at an economy of 5.46.
He has been often criticized for bowling too many length balls in the death overs thereby allowing the batsmen to hit sixes with ease. Even though he mastered the slower ball and bowled some good death-bowling spells for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL, he has not been able to replicate the same at the national level.
With Indian pace bowling attack brimming with talent at the moment, there is a problem of plenty already. In such circumstances, it is unlikely that the selectors will ever turn back to Mohit Sharma. Mohit made his last appearance for India in the famous 438-run ODI against South Africa at Wankhede.
