Bumrah has bowled really well in this series, and has been impeccable with his line and length. He has also put on some muscle and added some pace to his bowling.

Bumrah has bowled mostly with an upright seam, which makes him a dangerous proposition for the batsmen facing him. Moreover, his return of 39 wickets in 8 career Test matches at an average of 23.7 is very impressive indeed.
He could get rewarded for his efforts in the Melbourne Test if he continues bowling the short-pitched deliveries regularly. He hit Marcus Harris on the helmet with a vicious bouncer and would fancy his chances against the left-handed Australian batsmen while bowling round the wicket to them.
Bumrah has also conceded very few runs, and wore the Aussie batsmen down in Adelaide and Perth with his nagging line and length. He should be the Indian bowler to watch out for in Melbourne.
