#1. Chris Woakes out, Sam Curran in
It was a great error in judgement when England decided to leave out Sam Curran, the Man of the Match in the first Test to go with their two best all-rounders in Stokes and Woakes.
Woakes had a reasonable outing with the ball in both the innings but his failures with the bat added to England's batting woes. Curran, who offers a different angle given his left-arm action, caused Indian batters all sorts of trouble in the inaugural Test at Edgbaston and could be brought back into the side.
