He took 55 catches of Anil Kumble's bowling which is the second most number of catches taken off a particular bowler. Rahul Dravid at slips was an asset for the Indian Test team during his era, especially in the overseas matches. He is also the first cricketer to take 200 catches as a non-wicketkeeper in the Test history.
