2. Australia's bad run of form
They have lost their last two Test series to Pakistan and South Africa but what has hurt them the most is the suspension of then captain and vice-captain Steve Smith and David Warner. It wasn't as if all was good before that as well. Losing against India and drawing against Test minnows Bangladesh was embarrassing, to say the least.
What should be focused on though for the Aussies is their weak batting order which has led to their downfall recently. Other than Usman Khawaja, no one else has stepped up. The only positive is their fast bowling line-up which includes the likes of Mitchell Strac, Josh Hazelwood and Pat Cummins.
Although they have called-up Marcus Harris who has done very well in the domestic circuit, they still don't quite have an established opening pair, which is a big blow.
