Virat Kohli has claimed many times that Indian team can win anywhere in the world, but that hasn't happened as yet. Team India played only one practice game before the first Test against England and before that cancelled their only practice game in South Africa. Both of the series ended in a loss for India.

The false confidence that Kohli has been displaying has not been working at all. Every player needs some time to adjust to the foreign conditions but Kohli doesn't seem to think that way. Hence, it would be best for India if Ajinkya Rahane, who has a great captaincy record in Tests, or even Cheteshwar Pujara get in at the helm of the team.
