Delhi Daredevils have been having tough times in IPL for a long time. The DD management has made many changes every season but the team couldn’t deliver the required results. They made many changes for this season earlier this season too, but the story remained the same as they finished at the bottom again. As a result of this, the management has decided to revamp the squad once again for the upcoming season.

They have let go of Gautam Gambhir, Jason Roy, Junior Dala, Liam Plunkett, Mohammed Shami, Sayan Ghosh, Daniel Christian, Glenn Maxwell, Gurkeerat Singh Mann and Naman Ojha.

With no substantial experienced players in the squad, Delhi Daredevils may opt for Yuvraj Singh for the upcoming season. Yuvraj Singh represented Delhi Daredevils in the 2015 season of IPL, when he scored 249 runs at a below-par average of 19.15 from 14 games. Yuvraj could be the perfect choice for an inexperienced Delhi side and he might flourish under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer.
