Rohit is the only cricketer in history to have scored five hundreds in a single edition of the World Cup. He scored a stunning 122* in India’s opening match of the World Cup against South Africa, and followed it up with a marauding 140 against arch-rivals Pakistan in front of a sold out crowd at Old Trafford.

Rohit then scored three more hundreds in consecutive matches against England, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

On the other hand, Kohli has never managed to score more than three ODI hundreds in a single tournament. When India toured South Africa in 2018, Kohli smashed three in the series, including a classy 160*.

Later that year, when West Indies toured India, Kohli again scored three consecutive hundreds in the first three matches of the series.
